applications of ultrasonics in medical field

 

  1. Ultrasonics are used to release the contained enzymes.
  2. Meniere's disease produces hearing loss in the ear and it can be cured by ultrasonic exposure in the ear through the destruction of diseased tissue in the middle ear.
  3. Proliferation: It is used to increase the fibroblasts by stimulation, thereby producing myofibroblasts.
  4. Remodelling: It is used to decrease the strength of the scar by affecting the direction of elastic fibers which are responsible for the scar.
  5. Reversible blood cell stasis: While treating the patient, it is used to gather the blood in columns separated by plasma.
